rebirth

well its been quite some time since my last post.. not like anyone reads, but regardless.... way bored at work.

(major) things that have happened since then:

1. new bf... hollaaa

*we heart it*

2. new pet

i know, le cute 

3. dropped some knowledge on Step 1... 

waiting for scores though, and it is quite torturous. i thought that i was going to get my score yesterday and my stomach felt like it was gonna fall out of my butt.. thats how hard i was losing it. next wednesday though.... think of me! my mom told me that she thought i seemed very stressed and advised me to prepare for the worst... lol thanks.

4. grew a garden that is off the heezy fo sheezy. 

i wish i could remove this link... i feel so awk that i had to urban dictionary it.. like im some total recluse who has been living under a rock for 20+ years or a 70yo man, either or. but apparently SOME PEOPLE (*cough canadian bf cough*) dont know what that means.. so i thought it would be polite to save these canucks some googling time. i wish i could post a pic of how off the heezy it is.. but camera is broken, and phone cam isn't much better.

5. trying to be all martha stewart (aka remodel my room)

... and its not going so well. my bf and i selected some paint colors.. grey with a bit of purple undertone.  this was my original idea for my room:

yes, it is cute and i do like it.. but do i love it? eh, questionable. and i really think that after all the bucks... it should be more like ZOMG-love it-die with overwhelming amazingness. the curtains i do love and will probably keep them. the fabric for the headboard is so cute too... ive loved the suzani type of pattern for a long time! i had it all laid out at JoAnn fabric store and literally 4 of 4 women who walked by stopped to look at it and comment on how beautiful it was. 

HOWEVER.. i just cannot get over this gorgeous bedding

its delicate, totally fem and exactly what i want to fall into at the end of the day. if i were to do this... i would probably just use an upholstery quality fabric that is more subdued, a beige/khaki with maybe some black patterning. the more i think about this, the more i L O V E it. problem: its 200 bucks... hence the intense internal debate
